Management tools for evaluating strategies in fire departments.
Abstract
The objective of this research was to reveal the management tools for evaluating strategies in fire departments. Methodologically, the research was qualitative and bibliographic. With regard to the results and findings, once the categories had been researched and the reports issued by the control bodies had been reviewed, the information was triangulated and it was found that the control bodies do not have a management tool for evaluating the strategies proposed by the fire department. Therefore, this research will structure management tools based on the administrative process. In conclusion, the control agencies do not have a management tool to evaluate the strategies used by the institutions attached to them; that is, the municipal or metropolitan GADs do not have proper control over the fire departments.
