Proceso de atención enfermero según el modelo de adaptación de Callista Roy en pacientes prequirúrgicos
Resumen
El objetivo de esta investigación fue diseñar planes de cuidado de enfermería mediante una valoración basada en el Modelo de Adaptación de Callista Roy, identificando respuestas adaptativas y problemas prioritarios en pacientes prequirúrgicos del Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro entre diciembre de 2025 y marzo de 2026. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo, de alcance descriptivo y de campo con 100 pacientes seleccionados mediante muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Los resultados mostraron alteraciones relevantes: 65% dormía entre 4 y 6 horas, 40% presentó ansiedad moderada, 84% preocupación por las actividades posteriores a la cirugía, 56% algún grado de dependencia funcional y 60% ausencia de apoyo emocional profesional. Un 59% presentó limitaciones para recibir o comprender información prequirúrgica. Se concluye que el modelo permitió una valoración integral y orientó planes de cuidado dirigidos al bienestar físico, emocional, funcional y social del paciente prequirúrgico.
